How much does a new roof cost?
Every roof is different — size, pitch, tile type, access, and the condition of the structure underneath all affect the price. We always provide a free written quotation after a proper survey. No call-out charges and no obligation.
Do you offer a guarantee on your work?
Yes — all new roof installations come with a 10-year workmanship guarantee. We use high-end materials on every job and we stand behind the quality of our work.
Are you insured?
Yes — A2B Roofing holds £100,000 public liability insurance. We can provide proof of insurance on request before any work begins.
Do you need scaffolding for every job?
Not always — some small repairs can be done safely from a ladder. For any full re-roof, flat roof, or significant repair work we will erect a proper scaffold first. We won’t work unsafely at height.
How long does a full re-roof take?
A typical 3-bed semi takes 3–5 days once scaffold is up. Larger or more complex roofs will take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.
Can you match existing tiles?
We’ll always try our best to source matching tiles for repair work. On older properties it isn’t always possible to get an exact match but we’ll advise you honestly before starting work.
What areas do you cover?
Leicestershire as our primary area (Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Coalville and surrounding villages) plus regular work across Derbyshire (Derby, Chesterfield, Matlock, Belper and Ripley). Not sure if we cover you? Give us a call.
Do you do emergency repairs?
Yes — for leaks, storm damage and other urgent issues we'll do our best to get to you the same day or next day. Call 07856 547938 and we'll let you know our soonest availability.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer is preferred for most jobs. We never ask for cash up front. Payment terms are set out clearly in your written quote before work starts.
